Baptism Preparation
Baptism Policy
Attendance at a Baptism Preparation class is required before or after the birth of the firstborn child. Once the child is born, please call the faith formation office to set up a preparation session (if applicable) and to schedule the baptism date. We encourage you to have your child baptized during Mass so that the parish community can witness this wonderful moment as your child becomes a member of God's family. Under special circumstances, baptisms can be celebrated outside of Mass. Please contact the Faith Formation Director to discuss your particular situation. If you are not married, the diocese requires us to obtain a copy of your child's birth certificate. The parish office needs to receive a copy of the birth certificate before a baptism date is set. Baptism Preparation Sessions The sessions are from 5:00-6:00 pm. If needed sessions may be scheduled at another date/time. To register for a preparation session, please call Marian at 320-363-7505 ext. 533 Please note: if you are not a registered parishioner, we will also ask you to complete a parishioner registration form. 2023 Scheduled Preparation Sessions

Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” |
