Chrism Mass Lectio Divina Reflections on the Triduum
Chrism Mass for the Diocese of Saint Cloud
This solemn liturgy takes place once a year at the Cathedral, during which Bishop Kinney will consecrate the holy oils (the oil of catechumens, the oil of the sick and the oil of chrism) used in parishes of our diocese throughout the coming year. This event will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Mary in Saint Cloud on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 pm.
Lectio divina is Latin for divine reading or "holy reading", representing
a traditional Christian practice of prayer and scriptural reading. In
this way of praying with Scripture, we will focus on the coming Sunday's Gospel reading. Join us as we reflect on God's Word in our lives through reading, meditation, prayer and contemplation. This event will be held in the Teacher's Lounge of the Saint Joseph Lab School from
9:00 - 10:00 am on the Wednesdays of Lent.
Reflections on the Triduum: Connecting the Spirituality of the Three Days
Join us for an experiential evening of quiet contemplation and reflective music as we ponder the mystery of the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday), the three holiest days of the Church year. This event will take place in the church on Sunday, March 28 at 7:00 pm.
