Faith Formation
Our Saint Joseph parish mission statement includes the following “through our liturgy and faith formation, we build on a solid foundation as active witnesses of Christ, and we eagerly respond to the needs of the parish and global community.”
Faith Formation is a lifelong journey of faith for people of all ages.
At Saint Joseph, we strive to offer opportunities for everyone to know our faith, grow in our faith so that we can go in faith to share the gospel message in love and service. The offerings throughout the year include immediate preparation for the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation and Marriage. Faith Formation sessions are offered for children Pre-K through Grade 11 as well as youth groups for youth in grades 6-12. IGNITE is the youth group for grades 6-8 and AGAPE is the youth group for grades 9-12. The Catechetical Team comprises catechists and support persons for grades Pre-K-8 and the COR (Latin for Heart) Team for grades 9-11.
Adult faith formation events and activities are offered throughout the year such as Faith and Fellowship evenings, social events, seasonal resources, and gatherings. The RCIA process is in place for those seeking to belong to the Catholic Church.
Special events, prayer experiences and gatherings are being planned in light of the National Eucharistic Revival.
